President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia Elbrus Kargiev at his request. During the meeting they discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation.
Leonid Tibilov has noted that relations between South Ossetia and Russia will be developing and deepen within the frames of the signed arrangements. "The people of South Ossetia, fixed on the historical development of the inextricable links with the Russian Federation, being developed for centuries, and I as the president, will promote to strengthen them," - said the president. For his part, Elbrus Kargiev stressed that "all of Russia's actions in South Ossetia are absolutely consistent and focused on the development of further links at the foreign policy front as well as in addressing the problems associated with the restoration of the Republic."
