As IA "Res" has been informed by the Chairman of the non-commercial International Association «Renaissance Saendidzaen» («Revival») Radion Pukhaev, the event began on May 17 at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Brussels by holding the Round Table "The Bridges of Cooperation", which was attended by representatives of intelligentsia from Ossetia and the European countries.
"The Round Table was attended by artists, journalists, filmmakers, writers, public figures and representatives of the Ossetian Diaspora in Europe" - said Pukhaev. He has noted that during the Round Table a presentation of the book "Revival", released by the Tskhinval publisher "South Alania" also took place.
"Collected articles of the International Association of the Ossetian societies ''Revival'' is a selection of information and analytic material on the activities of the organization «Renaissance»in the Republic of South Ossetia, Russia and in several European countries for the period in 2009-2011", - said the interlocutor of the agency. According to him, at the round table were discussed such issues as the integration of South Ossetia with the international space, the prospects of cultural cooperation of Ossetia with the Western Europe in the field of culture and art, the role and place of the Ossetian culture in the modern world, and preparations for the Days of the Ossetian Culture in Europe in 2013.
"The Round Table was very productive. a number of specific decisions was adopted, such as opening an art gallery in Brussels and in the European countries, as well as the Days of the Ossetian culture in 2013 "- said Pukhaev.
He said that in Brussels had also taken place a premiere of the movie "And the whole of life it costs..." by a well-known documentary filmmaker - Ossetian producer Vadim Tsalikov and a meeting with the author and the characters of the film. At the end of the presentation of the film has taken place the II international exhibition of the Ossetian artists "Revelation."
"Painting and graphics were presented by Aylarov Vladimir (Russia), Ahsar Esenov (Russia), Igor Toguzaev (France), Larissa Salbieva (Belgium), Vadim Pukhaev (Russia, South Ossetia), - said Pukhaev. - The exhibition was opened by the Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Brussels Runov Valery Borisovich, who made special mention of the high level of the Ossetian artists."
Pukhaev reported that on May 20 within the frames of the festival "Rendezvous with Russia" the master class of the Ossetian artists-exhibitors of "Revelation" had also been conducted.
"I will say without exaggeration that the master class was the highlight of the South Ossetian art festival. The works were donated to the Russian Embassy in Belgium, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Brussels, and the Russian Orthodox Church in Belgium - a spokesman said.
He has noted that as the festival was also installed a stand-tent, where were presented Ossetian literature, booklets, brochures, DVD-disks, gifts, household items, costumes and cuisine.
