The Treaty of alliance and integration opens up new opportunities for Russian-Ossetian cooperation in all areas, said at a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on socio-economic cooperation between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Khloponin.
According to him, it will be carried out a lot of work on the implementation of the Treaty, by the end of the year it should be completed.
"In working order with the leadership of the South Ossetian government, we shall discuss the main directions of joint activities in the framework of this document," - said Khloponin.
He has also noted that that visiting, the Republic he can see positive changes.
"We have not achieved such results at once, but we can see the results of the fruitful work. Thanks to the professionalism of the executive authorities has been established a high level of trust between our governments, "- said the Russian official.
Khloponin has assured that despite the unfavorable situation around Russia, the financial aid to South Ossetia will not be reduced.
"We are confident that we will overcome all the difficulties. We have a good margin of safety to cope with all the problems. Nevertheless, we, at the level of the Russian government - put quite a hard task for reducing the budget staffing and administrative staff. This applies not only to the government staff and administration of the president, but all the subjects of the Russian Federation, where optimization is between 10 and 20%. There is a reduction of wages and funds ", - said Russian Deputy Prime Minister.
He has assured that in these difficult conditions, all obligations of Russia to South Ossetia will be fully carried out.
"This is a principled position of the Russian President Vladimir Putin," - said Khloponin.
He has said that since this year, the current financial assistance to the Republic will be 3.6 billion rubles annually for the maintenance of the budget and 3 billion rubles for the implementation of the investment program.
Khloponin has also noted the high level of cooperation between the two countries.
