The Deputy Presidential Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement, Yegor Kochiev commented on the adoption by the Georgian authorities of the sanctions list of "Otkhozoriya-Tatunashvili".
According to him, this issue was raised at today's meeting, which took place in Ergneti settlement within the framework of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM).
"We do not understand the motivation of the list of Otkhozoriya-Tatunashvili, which was voiced by the Georgian side," Kochiev said. - We, in turn, have noted that South Ossetia is preparing a list of war crimes committed in the territory of our Republic. Among them, the Ered tragedy, which occurred on March 18, 1991, when Ossetians were buried alive, as well as the Zar tragedy, when a column of 33 refugees was shot. And these blatant crimes were committed by Georgian gangs. "
Touching upon the issue of Tatunashvili's death, the South Ossetian diplomat said that in Geneva he had become acquainted with the conclusion of the forensic bureau named after Levan Samkharauli.
"This examination confirms that fragments of internal organs along with Tatunashvili's corpse were transferred to the Georgian side," Kochiev said. "At the same time, none of the examinations carried out showed any signs of torture on the body of the deceased."
The Deputy Envoy has added that the Georgian journalists distort the facts, calling Tatunashvili's death a murder.
