The agreement signed between the chambers of commerce and industry of South Ossetia and the Donetsk People's Republic is aimed at developing foreign economic relations between the two republics, said Valeria Bulyga, the Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Donetsk People's Republic at a briefing in Tskhinval.
"Business entities, both in the Donetsk People's Republic and in South Ossetia, I'm sure, are looking for markets for their products outside the republic," Bulyga said. "Perhaps, the products that are produced here will be interesting in Donetsk, and our products will be interesting for South Ossetia. By the way, I have noticed that you have very tasty water in the Republic. "
Bulyga has stressed that the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries will cooperate in promoting products, issuing documents confirming the origin of goods in South Ossetia and Donetsk.
"We plan to hold consultations, including on national legislation, because a lot of questions arise among business entities about how to export goods, what duties it will be taxed, etc.," said the head of the CCI of the Donetsk People's Republic.
According to Valeria Bulyga, the list of products produced in the Republic of Donetsk is extensive.
"These are various types of industrial goods, including the production of metal and coal. We also produce sausages, dairy products, household chemicals, furniture, etc. All of them need to enter new markets outside the country, finding new contractors with whom they can establish long-term relationships in the sphere of trade turnover," - said Bulyga.
