President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, met with Minister of Emergency Situations of Abkhazia Lev Kvitsinia. RA Ambassador to the RSO Alan Elbakiyev, Ambassador of the RSO to the RA Oleg Botsiev, Deputy Head of the Emergencies Ministry of South Ossetia Atsamaz Bestaev also took part in the meeting.
"It is gratifying to note how closely the structures of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Abkhazia interact, and this relationship makes sure that if necessary you are ready to come quickly to help each other. You conducted joint exercises with the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia, Abkhazia, worked on the water, in the mountains, and, of course, developed the skills that are needed in the work for divers, mountain rescuers. This is all due to the relationship that exists between the two ministries, "said Anatoly Bibilov.
The President highly appreciated the established relations between the leaders of the two fraternal republics, and also touched upon the upcoming presidential elections in Abkhazia and the parliamentary elections in South Ossetia.
“Please convey my best wishes to the Abkhaz President Raul Dzhumkovich Khadzhimba, I wish the Abkhaz people peace of mind, and that the ongoing political processes on the eve of the elections both in Abkhazia and South Ossetia will enable the elections to be held calmly and without excesses. "- concluded the President.
Lev Kvitsinia, in turn, thanked the President for the warm welcome.
The Minister also highly appreciated the interaction with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the RSO. He noted the support of the President of the RSO Anatoly Bibilov in all the processes taking place in Abkhazia.
"The interaction between the emergency departments of Abkhazia and South Ossetia was laid a long time ago, practically, from the date of creation of this service. We have been working closely, we have further plans, we understand and see your support. Those events that are held here in South Ossetia and in Abkhazia, of course, provide a great opportunity for further development of cooperation, and in this vein we plan to work in the future. The Minister thanked Anatoly Bibilov for his warm attitude towards the Abkhaz people and noted his great contribution to the development of bilateral relations.

He has added that by the presidential decree Raul Khadzhimba, for his great personal contribution to the development of intergovernmental relations between South Ossetia and Abkhazia, in strengthening peace and stability in the Transcaucasian region, Anatoly Bibilov was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Republic of Abkhazia".
