Soslan Pliev, Director of the Center for Socio-Political Studies of South Ossetian State University, is taking part in the Dialogue for the Future-2019. The Synthesis of Public Diplomacy and Modern Technologies as a New Trend in International Relations”, which is underway in Moscow from October 21 to 27.
As reported to IA "Res" by Soslan Pliev, the forum is large-scale, attended by representatives of Austria, Bulgaria, Afghanistan, Germany, Latvia, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Armenia and other countries.
“The event is very interesting and is taking place at the highest level, with the involvement of a large number of experts from various fields,” said Pliev. “In addition, I was invited next year to give a couple of lectures on the topic of the state and its role in the modern world in the context of newly formed states.”
The project is implemented by the Gorchakov Fund in conjunction with the Center for Foreign Policy Cooperation named after E.M. Primakov” with financial support of the “Presidential Grants Fund”.
Discussions include issues related to the main challenges of the digital era, the future development of science and education, relevant processes in the development of the diplomatic environment, the transformation of the world order and factors influencing it, the future of the international security system. They also discuss the evolution of relations between Russia and the countries of the West, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific region, as well as prospects for developing partnerships within the EAEU.
