South Ossetia is participating in the Forum "Women of the Russian Diaspora: Preserving the Past, Creating the Future" in Qatar.
The Republic is represented at the IV Eurasian Meeting of Russian Compatriots in Doha by the Chairperson of the Coordinating Council of Public Organizations of Russian Compatriots (KSORS) in the Republic of South Ossetia Svetlana Kotaeva.
As reported to IA "Res" by Kotaeva, the program of the meeting includes discussions and master classes dedicated to the role of women in modern society, preserving historical memory and intercultural dialogue.
"We are discussing issues of spiritual and moral education, effective management and conflict resolution. Particular attention will be paid to the contribution of women to the victory in the Great Patriotic War, which is dedicated to the literary and theatrical evening "Victory. Women's Fates". Participation in such events is the important opportunity to exchange experience, strengthen ties and develop cooperation between women of the Russian Diaspora,” she has noted.
In addition to the business program, the participants will have a cultural program, including a visit to the National Museum of Qatar, a cultural and ethnographic village and other attractions.
Following the meeting, a final statement will be adopted.
