A photo-documentary exhibition dedicated to the 90th birthday of a prominent statesman of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Primakov opened in the capital of South Ossetia. The exposition was prepared by the Russian Embassy in South Ossetia.
The event was attended by President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic Marat Kulakhmetov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Dmitry Medoev and others.
During his speech, Marat Kulakhmetov spoke about the life and work of the politician and public figure Yevgeny Primakov.
“This fusion of qualities as a politician, diplomat, journalist, intelligence officer, while possessing an academic background, enabled him to solve Russia's global problems on international platforms. His horizons and depth of knowledge in all areas of activity attracted people from all over the world to him, because it is interesting to communicate with an intelligent person,” the Ambassador said.
Dmitry Medoev has noted that Yevgeny Maksimovich was an outstanding statesman of Russia and an oriental scientist.
The photo exhibition is located in the building of the presidential administration and will last for two days. The photographs depict the events from the life of the politician.
On Tuesday, October 29, Yevgeny Primakov would have turned 90 years old.

He led the Central Intelligence Service in the Soviet Union, the Foreign Intelligence Service in Russia. He had the academic title of professor and doctor of economy. From 2001 to 2011, he headed the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
