Another 60 citizens of the Republic applied to the Consular Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in North Ossetia-Alania to help them return to their homeland, Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev said at a meeting of the headquarters to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
According to him, "the number of people leaving the Republic is much less than those who want to enter."
The headquarters meeting was chaired by the head of state Anatoly Bibilov. He called on everyone to work together in order to avoid any malfunctions in the work of the headquarters.
“The headquarters as a living organism should work synchronously and harmoniously. It’s not difficult to organize. Be creative in your work,” Bibilov said.
He proposed to receive the first group of citizens on April 22 and quarantine them in the hospital of the Republican Somatic Hospital.
According to the chief sanitary doctor of the Republic, Marina Kochieva, 24 people are in quarantine in the hospital.
"They arrived on April 14. They will be tested on the tenth day of quarantine, and if they are negative, they will be able to leave the hospital on April 28 after the two-week quarantine period," said Kochieva
Over the past day, 16 vehicles drove into the Republic, of which 14 units of transport are heavy trucks engaged in the delivery of food products.
