The intensive care unit of the South Ossetian multidisciplinary medical center received humanitarian aid in the form of consumables for ventilators from the head of the branch of “Intersedzhikal " firms from Moscow Georgy Parastaev, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic told IA Res.
According to the chief anesthesiologist-resuscitator Alexander Pliev, the help received will be enough for the department for several years.
“We received a lot of humanitarian aid - supplies for mechanical ventilation, filters, circuits, which we had in limited quantities. I want to thank Georgy Parastaev for such support. This is not his first action, after the war in August 2008 he also sent us consumables that we had been using for 4-5 years, "he said.
Pliev emphasized that the humanitarian aid received was intended to saturate the oxygen of the most severe patients.
