President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov sent a telegram of condolences to President of the Lebanese Republic Michel Aoun in connection with the tragic events in Beirut, the press service of the head of state reports.
“With a feeling of deep sorrow, the Republic of South Ossetia received the news of the tragic events and catastrophic destruction in Beirut, which resulted in numerous human casualties.
On behalf of the leadership, the people of the Republic of South Ossetia and on my own behalf, I express my condolences to all the families and friends of the victims, and wish a speedy recovery to all who were injured or wounded in this terrible tragedy.
We ask you to convey the words of sympathy and support to all the victims, "the telegram reads.
