President of South Ossetia, Alan Gagloev, speaking in the Parliament of the Republic on Friday, said that the issue of forming a new government and starting active work, including the implementation of an investment program, the realization of which currently amounts to 20%, is on the agenda.
Alan Gagloev stressed his interest in ensuring that relations between the executive and legislative branches of government return to normal.
“Moreover, as a supporter of the idea of switching to a mixed system of government, I consider it necessary to take progressive steps to transfer part of the control and other powers of the president to the parliament.
One of the first initiatives of the Presidential Executive Office will be the return to the Constitutional Law "On the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia" of the norms of the law on the obligation of each minister to submit a report on the work done to the Parliament.
I think that we will gradually build a normal system of checks and balances in the state, which will definitely affect the state of law in the Republic of South Ossetia,” he said.
