Zalina Tskhovrebova, editor-in-chief of the socio-political newspaper Yuzhnaya Ossetia, is taking part in the work of the International Moscow Media Forum of public opinion leaders, civil societies and the media: "It's Time for Capitals", which is taking place on April 18-19 in Belgrade.
As noted by Tskhovrebova in a commentary to IA “Res”, the media forum opened on Tuesday with a plenary session dedicated to the modern life of cities and their development strategy.
“The forum is taking place at a very difficult time. This cannot but affect us and requires maximum concentration, professional efforts, high patriotic spirit and readiness for any trials from each participant in the discussions. I would like to emphasize once again that a lot depends on us, representatives of the journalistic community. We have to fight our own and repel information attacks on all fronts that have fallen on our society,” she said.
According to Tskhovrebova, meetings with well-known journalists, experts in the media industry, master classes, round tables, discussion clubs and other events will be held within the framework of the forum, issues related to cultural and humanitarian cooperation, image components and the "soft power" of foreign policy are also planned to be discussed at the media forum.
“The most valuable thing in such meetings is communication with colleagues. A huge number of issues that arise before journalists in different parts of the world are being discussed here in a calm, businesslike atmosphere. The editors are speaking frankly about sensitive issues and often immediately come to a consensus,” Tskhovrebova said.
