A solo concert of the State Song and Dance Group "Simd" will take place on March 7 in St. Petersburg, the press service of Ministry of Culture of South Ossetia reports.
The event will be organized on the stage of the Mariinsky Theater.
"The creative team intends to dedicate its performance to the 80th anniversary of the Victory and, in particular, to the heroic residents of Leningrad, all those who died and survived in the fight against fascism," the press service has noted.
The State Song and Dance Group repertoire has included several heroic songs dedicated to the feat of Soviet people.
The project is being implemented by the agreement between Ministries of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation with the assistance of the Federal State Budgetary Cultural Institution "Rosconcert".
