South Ossetia will take part in one of the key events of the global food industry – the International Exhibition Prodexpo-2025.
As noted by the Republic’s trade representative in the Russian Federation Taimuraz Goginov in a commentary to IA “Res”, Prodexpo is not just the opportunity to present its products on a large market, but also a chance to attract investments, strengthen economic ties and talk about the Republic’s potential.
He has emphasized that participation in the exhibition is the result of the coordinated work of the entire team, from technologists and workers to marketers, those who put their work into producing quality products every day. This is a common success that the Republic is rightfully proud of.
“This is a great occasion for everyone who brought their product to the pinnacle of success. Thanks to the competent management and dedicated work of our specialists, we can present the unique South Ossetian products to the world at such a prestigious venue as Prodexpo-2025,” Goginov said.
The exhibition will feature such brands as High Mountain Kel Brewery and Ironsan Winery.
In addition, the recently opened canning plant will also present its products.
“These brands will be our main exhibitors. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with their favorite products and discover new products that our manufacturers have carefully prepared for this event. We will share our successes, and hopefully, good reviews of our products,” the trade representative noted.
According to him, in addition to the presentation part, active participation in the Prodexpo business program is planned.
“A large number of different competitions are held within the framework of the exhibition, in which our products will take part. We hope that we will receive the highest marks. The exhibition will include the ProdexpoWine salon, the largest alcohol-themed exhibition in Russia, where we will also participate,” Goginov has shared.
The South Ossetian delegation has a large number of meetings planned with large federal chains and regional distributors.
Particular attention will be paid to the presentation of South Ossetia’s investment potential.
“We have prepared a beautiful stand so that investors are positively disposed. Our goal is to interest potential partners and tell them about favorable conditions for investment, including promising platforms, investment opportunities, and guarantees provided by the legislation of South Ossetia. The presence of a law on investment activity is a key factor ensuring the safety and peace of mind of investors,” the trade representative has added.
Taimuraz Goginov also emphasized the importance of constantly improving product quality as a national priority and the basis for high-quality exports.
“As a trade representative, I consider ensuring a new level of quality for our products to be the main task. This should become part of our national thinking, the style of our exports. This is not the first participation of the Republic in this prestigious event, which is distinguished by a pronounced practical focus,” the interlocutor said.
He has noted that Prodexpo provides a unique opportunity not only to present its products, but also to form a holistic image of the country through its gastronomic achievements.
As emphasized by Goginov, participation in the exhibition is an important step for South Ossetia in promoting the national brand and strengthening economic ties.
The 32nd international exhibition of food, beverages and raw materials for their production "Prodexpo" will be held in Moscow from February 3 to 7.
