Humanitarian aid from South Ossetia was sent to the earthquake-affected residents of Syria and Turkey, the press service of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports reports.
"Humanitarian aid collected in the Republic has set off.
We express our deep gratitude to all those who are not indifferent to such a tragedy," the statement of the press service reads.
The collection point was opened in the Republic on behalf of President Alan Gagloev. For the purpose of openness and accessibility of information, the data of all those who provided assistance, have been recorded.
