South Ossetia signed the intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement with the Leningrad Region on the sidelines of the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the press service of the executive body reports.
"The Agreement is aimed at developing bilateral cooperation and mutually beneficial partnerships in various spheres of life, in particular, trade, industry, tourism, cultural exchange, social sphere," the press service said.
The document was signed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic - Minister of Economic Development Dzambolat Tadtaev and Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko in the presence of the President of the Republic Alan Gagloev.
