Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to Nicaragua Narim Kozaev took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista Revolution. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic.
According to the department, the guests were welcomed and congratulated on a significant date by President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, and the Vice-President of the country, Rosario Murillo.
“Narim Kozaev conveyed to Comandante Daniel Ortega a congratulatory address on behalf of President of the Republic Alan Gagloev on the occasion of the national holiday, noting the attitude of the leadership and people of South Ossetia to further strengthen relations with Nicaragua,” the statement of the Foreign Ministry reads.
The main event took place at Parque de la Dignidad Nacional in the center of Managua.
The solemn rally was attended by international guests, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Nicaragua, members of the Nicaraguan government and a large Nicaraguan public.
