Young television journalists from South Ossetia will represent the Republic at the international media forum “Dialogue of Cultures” in St. Petersburg, Vestnik reports.
From May 22 to 25, 2024, the XVIII International Media Forum “Dialogue of Cultures” will be held in St. Petersburg with the support of the government of St. Petersburg, the Russian World Foundation, the Union of Journalists of Russia and the Presidential Grants Fund.
“Dialogue of Cultures” has been bringing together representatives of the media and creative industries aged 18 to 35 for 17 years.
The upcoming forum in the Hermitage will traditionally begin with a practical conference with the presentation of cross-border projects of participants from Russia and foreign countries and will provide them with a unique opportunity to demonstrate original television and documentary projects to colleagues from different countries.
The Hermitage will host a festival of short documentary films, united by the common theme “Eurasia. A New Generation of Dialogue and an extensive photo exhibition of young photographers will be opened in the public spaces of the museum’s General Headquarters.
Also within the framework of the forum, participants will visit Veliky Novgorod, the House-Museum of A.S. Pushkin on the Moika, the House-Museum of P.I. Tchaikovsky in Klin and Yasnaya Polyana - the estate of Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy.
