Representatives of public organizations of Russian compatriots in South Ossetia are taking part in the St. Petersburg Forum of youth associations of compatriots and foreign Russian-language media “Russian Abroad”.
The South Ossetian delegation has included the head of the youth wing of the Union of Russian Citizens of the Republic, Marta Kharebova, and the activist of the public organization “Rossy ” Lana Kokoity.
As reported to the “Res” news agency, by Chairman of the Coordination Xouncil of Russian Compatriots in South Ossetia Natalya Zhuikova, the Forum started on Monday and will end on May 31.
At the opening ceremony of the Forum, Marta Kharebova performed a song in the Ossetian language “Didinaeg”,” she said.
Zhuikova noted that the Forum program was rich, interesting and varied.
“On the first day there were group classes as part of the “Dating Day”. Lectures, trainings, master classes, meetings, and excursions are organized. There will also be a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument "Mother Motherland". There will be general classes on leadership, economics, and the media," Zhuikova said. .
Chairman of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots has noted that the trip took place with the assistance of the Russian Embassy in the Republic.
