The South Ossetia Health Minister Thomas Dzhigkaev will visit the leading federal and Moscow medical centers as part of the National Congress with International Participation "National Healthcare 2024", which will be held from October 28 to 29 in Moscow.
As reported by the press service of the department, on Sunday the head of the Healthcare Ministry has already visited the P.A. Herzen Moscow Research Institute of Oncology. As part of the working visit, a meeting was held with the chief oncologist of the Russian Healthcare Ministry Andrei Kaprin.
The National Congress with International Participation "National Healthcare 2024" is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Soviet organizer of healthcare N.A. Semashko.
The Congress program has included thematic sessions (medical personnel, digital transformation of healthcare, maternal and child health, emergency medical care, combating cardiovascular, oncological and infectious diseases, as well as diabetes, best regional practices for reducing mortality, etc.), at which the heads of regions, various ministries and departments of the Russian Federation, state corporations, public opinion leaders, heads of large medical and pharmaceutical businesses, foreign experts, and scientists will speak.
