A delegation of the Healthcare Ministry of South Ossetia headed by Minister Thomas Dzhigkaev is taking part in the grand opening of the 3rd National Congress with the international participation "National Healthcare 2024" in Moscow, the press service of the Ministry of Healthcare reports.
"The two-day program has included more than 25 events in various formats. During various sessions, discussions are being held on the most pressing issues related to the healthcare sector, modernization of the industry and strengthening public health aimed at increasing the life expectancy and quality of life of citizens," the press service has note.
It is noted that among the participants in the expert discussions there are opinion leaders in the field of healthcare, representatives of federal executive bodies of Russia, experts in the healthcare industry, heads of the government agencies, major research centers, medical and pharmaceutical companies.
"After the opening ceremony of the Congress, the head of the Healthcare Ministry of our Republic visited the Filatov Hospital No. 15 flagship center in Moscow," the press service has noted.
The Ministry of Health has added that as part of the delegation's visit, a meeting was held with the chief physician, doctor of medicine, professor, the head of the department of emergency and urgent medical care of the N.I. Pirogov FDPO RNRMU Valery Vechorko.
