The Iranian business at the international exhibition of food, beverages and raw materials Prodexpo-2025 was interested in the investment potential of South Ossetia. This was reported to TASS by the trade representative of South Ossetia in Russia Taimuraz Goginov.
"Regarding our direct negotiations, we have at least 100 negotiations held at our stand every day, there are specific agreements, there are preliminary ones, current relationships are being discussed, and we are also talking about our innovations, plans and current realities. Therefore, we are very pleased. In my opinion, very promising negotiations with the Iranian business community were held on the sidelines of Prodexpo. I told them about South Ossetia, about our economic potential, the preferences provided by the South Ossetian investment law. I believe that this is one of the most unique legislative documents that guarantee investors security. And I can say that Iranian business is interested. I hope that there will be results in the near future," Goginov said.
He has noted that the day before, according to information from the Prodexpo administration, there was a record day in terms of attendance for the entire period of its existence - more than 80 thousand people visited the exhibition platform.
"In this sea of business activity, we are glad that the South Ossetian exposition is in the spotlight, and we, along with other participating countries, were able to present to professional buyers, distributors, federal networks what is available today in South Ossetia, and we are glad that we have this opportunity," the trade representative has emphasized.
