South Ossetian Foreign Minister and the ICRC leadership discussed intensifying efforts to search for the missing persons

Intensifying efforts to search for the missing persons was discussed at the meeting between the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev and the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of South Ossetia Said Assadullah, as well as with the ICRC envoy for missing persons in the Caucasus Agnes Kotu.

This was reported by the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry.

“During the conversation, issues related to the search for missing persons were raised. The importance of intensifying efforts in this direction has also been stressed,” the Foreign Ministry has noted.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the Foreign Policy Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, Taimuraz Dzhidzhoev, and the ICRC representative on public relations, Marina Tedety.
