Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the title Hero of Russia to the Ossetian native and Rosgvardia officer Marat Tibilov.
The Russian head of state presented the Gold Star to Tibilov at the gala reception in the St. George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the press service of the Rosgvardia reports.
“Major Marat Tibilov has been performing service and combat missions on the front lines from the first day of the special military operation,” the press service has noted.
In 2022, for courage and heroism shown while performing missions in the combat zone, the Rosgvardia officer was awarded two Orders of Courage.
