Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov noted the great potential of South Ossetia in the field of tourism. He stated this at the meeting with President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev.
“The Republic is of independent interest to tourists, and with the development of Mamison, it will be even easier to come here to relax and see the sights. This is already Transcaucasia; the climate here is a little different. Nature changes a lot along the way, and there is something to see here. It is necessary to work on bank financing,” he has noted.
Reshetnikov noted the importance of increasing its own tax base, which, according to him, is absolutely correct from the point of view of economics, legalization and administration.
"This should be one of the main tasks of the next five-year program. It is important to critically evaluate the implemented program, identify successes and failures, and plan further actions. The main thing is mutual trust and trust in your team and work. This is based on good relations and understanding of the situation," he said.
The Minister also assured of the Russian government's readiness to actively facilitate the implementation of these plans.
"We are ready to work intensively in the coming months to prepare investment proposals. We will try to support these initiatives as much as possible at the level of the Russian government," Reshetnikov has concluded.
