International festival of the world opera star, Honored Artist of South Ossetia and RSO- North Ossetia-Alania Veronica Dzhioeva will be held in South Ossetia, in August 18 – 22, said during a press conference at the State Committee of Information and Press of South Ossetia Minister of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia Madina Ostaeva.
The festival will be attended by world stars from South Ossetia, Russia, the Czech Republic and Italy.
"This international festival will be held in South Ossetia for the first time", - she said.
As part of the festival, in Tskhinval will be two concerts. In addition, the opera singers will give master classes for young singers.
"One concert will take place in the hall of the Tskhinval school of music, and the second - a gala concert -will be held on August 22 in a cinema and concert hall "Chermen,"- said Ostaeva.
The initiator of the International Festival is the Ministry of Culture of the RSO.

President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov has met with Acting Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Tamerlane Aguzarov and the Chairman of the Commission for Co-operation of the Federation Council and the Parliament of South Ossetia, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Alexander Totoonov, who are in South Ossetia on a friendly visit.

Leonid Tibilov has warmly welcomed the guests, thanking them for their visit to South Ossetia. He expressed hope that relations with Tamerlane Aguzarov, who has arrived in the Republic as Acting Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, in the future will be friendly.
"Between our republics should be developed the best relationships, our people are waiting for this and we must meet this expectation", - said the President.

Leonid Tibilov has noted that thanks to the assistance of the Russian Federation, South Ossetia is a free, independent and recognized country,.
"The whole essence and content of the Agreement, signed between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, are intended to continue our relationship in the field of allied and integration processes. Today we start the implementation of the allied Treaty and the preparation of additional agreements ", - said the head of the South Ossetian state.

Tamerlan Aguzarov, in turn, has expressed his gratitude to Leonid Tibilov for warm reception, stressing that this visit is extremely friendly.
"Today, for the first time, I have arrived in South Ossetia as Acting Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. Earlier with Mr. Totoonov we had visited South Ossetia, attending certain events as official representatives of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. I felt it necessary to come to South Ossetia and welcome you, Mr. President., "- said the acting head of North Ossetia.

He has stressed that thanks to the assistance of the Russian Federation, the capital of the Republic - Tskhinval is changing for the better, and the Treaty of Alliance and Integration signed between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation will help to further developing of these processes.
"We are very pleased to see the changes in the Republic. We love, respect and appreciate each other and therefore should help each other. I think that today we will discuss issues relating to the assistance that we can provide to South Ossetia in personnel, technical, material and other spheres. We are one nation and we share common goals, "- said Tamerlan Aguzarov.

At the end of the meeting Leonid Tibilov and Tamerlan Aguzarov exchanged gifts. Tamerlan Aguzarov presented to the President of South Ossetia two candlesticks with clockwork in the Gothic style, emphasizing that running the clock mechanism will symbolize a new round of relations between North and South Ossetia and personally between Tamerlane Aguzarov and Leonid Tibilov.

Today, Leonid Tibilov, Temerlan Agouzarov, Alexander Totoonov visited the National Museum of the Republic of South Ossetia, and laid flowers at the Memorial chapel in the yard of the Tskhinval school №5.

The South Ossetian side in the framework of the IPRM called unacceptable and offensive the provocative actions of the Georgian side at the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia, said Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement Khokh Gagloyty after a meeting of participants in the mechanisms to prevent and respond to incidents (IPRM), held in the village of Ergneti.
According to him, today's meeting was initiated by the South Ossetian side in connection with the provocations taken place last ten days at the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia.
"During the meeting we once again reminded all the participants of the conscious firing of the border markers, - said Gagloyty. - We said that this course resulted in the unacceptable and offensive provocations that took place the last ten days. In the case of recurrence of such acts on the adjacent territory, will be followed an appropriate response. "
According to Gagloyty, at the suggestion of representatives of the international organizations, the participants of the meeting expressed their readiness to work for maintaining peace in the region.
"Some interest was aroused by the statement of one of the representatives of international organizations, who said that the population of the area adjacent to South Ossetia had expressed dissatisfaction with the actions with participation of the civil and political sector of Georgia.
