A presidential candidate of South Ossetia, the leader of the Communist Party of South Ossetia Stanislav Kochiev has passed today an exam in the state languages proficiency, required for registration of a candidate for the presidency. As IA "Res" was informed at the CEC of South Ossetia, Kochiev had got through the exam successfully and members of the linguistic commission made a decision to give him a pass.
They specified, that he had written the dictation in Russian and Ossetian; after that he addressed the committee on the given topic. It should be reminded, that earlier the Central Election Committee of South Ossetia registered ex-Chairman of the KGB of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov, Human Rights Ombudsman under the President of South Ossetia David Sanakoev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to Russia Dmitry Medoev as the candidates for the presidency.
.Re-election of the President of South Ossetia is scheduled for March 25.
