Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Rashid Nurgaliyev has arrived today in South Ossetia on a working visit on the invitation of the Secretary of Security Council of South Ossetia Anatoly Pliev.
Today Nurgaliyev has met with the South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov and the Security Council Secretary Anatoly Pliev. During the meeting were discussed the issues of the international and regional security, cooperation in countering modern threats and challenges, cooperation within the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance, a plan of cooperation between the Russian Security Council and of the RSO Security Council in 2013 - 2014 years, which provides for specific measures to ensure the national security of both countries and the development of bilateral relations.
The meetings of the Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary with the Prime Minister of South Ossetia Rostik Khugaev and other heads of the government of the Republic have also taken place.
