In the capital of South Ossetia will be held a meeting in memory of the deceased Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. This was said by South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov at the grand meeting dedicated to the International Women's Day.
"The untimely death of this great, courageous man, devoted to his country – is an irretrievable loss not only to the Venezuelan people, but also for people of South Ossetia. He has always been and will be a great friend of our Republic, "- said Tibilov.
The participants of the meeting observed a minute of silence to pay tribute to the blessed memory of the Venezuelan leader. The meeting to commemorate Hugo Chavez` death will be held March 8 (the day of Chavez` funeral) on the main square of Tskhinval.
