We remember. We remember their feat - a feat of the guys who were bursting to defend South Ossetia, Ossetian people from another outbreak of fascism and xenophobia. We remember the feat of the Russian soldiers and officers. And, of course, we remember the burning eyes of mothers and fathers of the Russian soldiers who fell on the field of battle for peace in Ossetia. We remember and pass on to our children to honor the heroism of the sons of Russia.
Recently in Tskhinval was held the memory meeting dedicated to the six young soldiers who had perished on the outskirts of Tskhinval, on the Zar road - the "road of life", which is also rightly called "the road of death."
On the eve of the fifth anniversary of the August tragedy teachers and schoolchildren of the Tskhinval school № 3, gymnasium "Rukhs" and the Tskhinval boarding school gathered to commemorate the young heroes.
"We want to show that we remember the Russian soldiers and officers who died in defense of our people not only on the eve of the anniversary of the bloody war - we will always remember them. We will be passing on the memory of those events to our children, like our parents have passed on their sacred memory to us "- said one of the senior pupils.
At the meeting of mourning and remembrance, organized in the courtyard of the school№ 3, at the memorial plaque on which the names of six heroes from Rostov are carved, were being heard words of gratitude.
"They were killed on the Zar road, which is blood-soaked for the last 20 years, and we are still mourning. We honor the memory of all who lost their lives. The guys from the Rostov region entered the modern history of Ossetia and Russia; we bow down before them. South Ossetia has not forgotten for one second those who defended its people, "- said the senior teacher Alla Pukhaeva.
"But for these guys, we would have not survived. Thank them, thank their parents, who brought up such sons, "- expressed his gratitude a teacher Kazbeg Beteev
After laying wreaths and flowers at the memorial plaque those gathered visited the memorial on the Zar road, where had been killed Russian soldiers and the memorial "The museum of burned souls," where the Alan Diocese priest Father George served a memorial service for the souls of the dead, and the schoolchildren and teachers honored the memory of those killed by the laying of wreaths and flowers.
The action of remembrance was held without pomp, noise. The children recited poems and performed sad music, playing the guitar.
We remember and we all bow before the Russians, Ossetians, Chechens, Dagestani, Ingush ... nobility and heroism are not defined by ethnicity. We remember all those who defended the land of South Ossetia and its people from destruction. The memory of your heroism will always be in our hearts.
