In order to improve the process of customs clearance of goods crossing the state border between South Ossetia and Russia, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Murat Tskhovrebov signed orders approving customs declaration forms for vehicles and their filling in. As he explained to the news agency "Res", the decision had been made to regulate the import of transit vehicles.
"The vehicles taken off the register in other states and crossing the customs border of South Ossetia within ten days must be subjected to customs clearance in the Republic. This declaration is not related to the vehicles already registered in other countries, but only to those that need to be registered in South Ossetia ", - said Tskhovrebov.
According to him, the declaration form will be filled in at the customs post "Upper Ruck", the document will contain the term of delivery of the vehicles to the State Customs Committee for registration.
"This term will be confirmed by the order of the State Customs Committee, it will be ten days since crossing the border" - said Tskhovrebov.
Referring to the order for approval of the new customs declaration forms for cargo transport, the head of the State Customs Committee has noted that the old declarations will be replaced by the new ones and will meet the generally accepted standards.
