The South Ossetian authorities deported a citizen of Georgia

The South Ossetian authorities handed over to the Georgian side a citizen of Georgia Temur Gagloev, previously convicted for violation of the state border.
As the news agency "Res" has been reported at the press service of the KGB of South Ossetia, Gagloev was handed over to the authorities of Georgia on November 15 in the border village of Ergneti in the course of the meeting in the format of MPRI.
"In May 2013 Gagloev was detained for illegal crossing of the state border of South Ossetia in Znaur district of South Ossetia. During the detention Gagloev explained that he asked for political asylum. He was granted a residence permit and refugee status," - said the KGB press -service official.
After six months of stay on the territory of South Ossetia, Gagloev within a group of offenders was again detained at attempt of illegal crossing the state border with Georgia.
For the second attempt of crossing the border Gagloev was deprived the status of refugee and sentenced to one year conditionally for illegal crossing of the state border.
Two months later it was decided to deport Gagloev to Georgia.
The press service of the RSO KGB noted that Gagloev - born in the Ochamchire district of Abkhazia, - lived on the territory of Georgia in the town of Gori.
