During a working meeting with heads of ministries and agencies President Leonid Tibilov instructed the Pension Fund to find means for a lump-sum payment of thousand rubles to pensioners of the Republic of South Ossetia for the New Year.
The President also heard the information about the results of the trip to Moscow of the working group consisting of the Head of Presidential Executive Office Boris Chochiev, First Deputy Prime Domenty Kulumbegov, Minister of Construction and Architecture Eduard Dzagoev and Minister of Finance Aza Khabalova.
According to Domenty Kulumbegov, the meeting in the capital of the Russian Federation was held in two stages and was essentially a continuation of the already held meetings to discuss the issues of implementation of the Investment Program, as well as finding ways to timely and effective work on the planned activities.
"We have analyzed the situation for implementation of the Investment program for 2013 and discussed measures to beginning the implementation of the Investment program for 2014. It should be noted that much attention has been paid to the timely development of design estimates. The second part of our conversation was devoted to the formation of the Investment Program for 2015-2016", - said Kulumbegov.
The Deputy Prime Minister also stressed that "the standards of requirements to all participants of the Investment Program will be enhanced and, primarily, to the contractors who will participate in the implementation of these measures."
"It will be kept strict control over the schedule of works for the entire planning period of completion of projects. I am sure that such approaches and level of mutual understanding, as well as improving requirements will have positive results in the implementation of the Investment Program for 2014", - underlined Kulumbegov.
The Head of the Presidential Executive Office Boris Chochiev, speaking about the results of the trip to Moscow, has underlined that the meeting was distinguished by systematic and benevolent form of work.
The head of state urged all those present to actively participate in the preparation of the Investment program for 2015-2016, the basis for which should serve all existing sectoral programs.
"The issues should be resolved at a stated time," - said Leonid Tibilov.
About the planned New Year events in the education system reported Education Minister Marina Chibirova. She has noted that preparations for the festivities are nearing completion.
Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev told about the work of South Ossetian delegation in the framework of the 26th round of the Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia. According to him, the main topic of the talks is security issue, discussed by two working groups. Also were discussed the issues of the missing and release of the persons who are kept in prisons of Georgia and South Ossetia.
"There was a discussion of the situation on the South Ossetian-Georgian border. The actions of the Georgian side in the border areas we regard as a provocation and propaganda steps. In particular, we drew attention to propaganda activities, held on December 6 near the Georgian village of Gogeti, where visitors from Tbilisi held protests in support of the choice of the Ukrainian people and against the works carried out to define the frontier,"- he stressed.
According to Murat Dzhioev, South Ossetian side regularly reminds that the Geneva discussions are conducted since the end of the war and are designed to develop a legally binding agreement that will ensure security for South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
"I have also reminded that we do not see a clear position of the new government of Georgia. It turned out that the Georgian delegation could not even verbally declare that they intended to work on the issue of the non-use of force,"- concluded the Presidential Envoy.
