On the invitation of the Vladikavkaz Scientific Center, a delegation of the South Ossetian State University participated in the V International theoretical and practical conference "Prospects and features of the integration processes in North and South Ossetia", held in Vladikavkaz last week.
Within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between South Ossetian State University and the Vladikavkaz Scientific Center, signed in 2013, the staff of the universities and research centers regularly participates in joint scientific conferences. According to the representative of South Ossetian delegation , head of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship, the head of the parliamentary committee on budget and taxes Zhanna Kochieva, besides the delegation of South Ossetian State University the conference was attended by representatives of the South Ossetian Research Institute, the Parliament and the Ministry of Agriculture, the Committee of industry, transport and energy, as well as a number of public organizations of the Republic.
"At the conference the delegation of South Ossetian State University presented four scientific reports on the development of agriculture in South Ossetia, the tasks of integration of North and South Ossetia, competitive model of socio-economic development - said Kochieva. - The participants of the conference discussed the issues of energy, the use of natural resources and raw materials in North and South Ossetia, transport, entrepreneurship and employment of the population. "
According to Kochieva, it is a unifying conference, which should promote closer cooperation between South and North Ossetia.
The organizers of the V International theoretical and practical conference are the Government of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Vladikavkaz Scientific Centre of Russian Academy of Sciences and the Government of North Ossetia-Alania, the Gorsky State Agrarian University, North Caucasus Research Institute of mountain and foothill agriculture, South Ossetian State University.
