A working meeting between the Interior Minister Igor Naniev and Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev took place on Monday at the Republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the press service of the department, the meeting was attended by the director of the information and coordination center of the internal affairs bodies of South Ossetia and Russia Alan Bolataev, the head of the department of legal support and international cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artur Siukaev.
The head of the Foreign Ministry congratulated the Minister on signing the protocol to the agreement between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation on co-financing the costs of a phased increase in the material and technical support of the Republic’s internal affairs bodies, monetary allowance and social guarantees of employees of the internal affairs bodies, which took place on April 30 in Moscow.
The Foreign Minister has noted that the signing of such important documents improves the capabilities of employees of internal affairs bodies and strengthens ties between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Russia and South Ossetia.
In turn, Minister of Internal Affairs expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Foreign Ministry. He has noted that the signing of the protocol took place with the active assistance of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia and the staff of the Embassy of the Republic in the Russian Federation.
“We work in close cooperation, together we solve all problems, and Dmitry Nikolayevich and all the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia always provide great assistance. The signing of the protocol suggests that interdepartmental relations between the two ministries are developing, as well as ties are strengthening in the international arena. With the signing of this important document, the monetary allowance of employees of internal affairs bodies will increase, and the material and technical support of the department will be improved. I express my gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Anatoly Ilyich Bibilov, who made a huge contribution to the signing of the protocol, as well as to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the leadership and employees of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia and Russia,” said Igor Naniev.
At the end of the meeting, Medoev presented the departmental medal to the Interior Minister Igor Naniev: “The Interior Ministry, along with other ministries and departments, has been making a certain contribution to the development of international relations. Therefore, it was decided to award Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Georgievich Naniev with the medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic “For Contribution to International Cooperation”.
Dmitry Medoev also congratulated the Interior Minister Igor Naniev on his birthday, which he celebrated on May 1.
