All tests over the past weekend showed a negative result; no new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in South Ossetia, Deputy head of the South Ossetian Supervision Committee Anna Gagloeva told IA “Res” on Monday.
In the Republic since May of this year, more than 3.1 thousand people have been tested for coronavirus.
"Currently, 4 patients with a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 remain in the hospital under the supervision of doctors - citizens who arrived in quarantine and a nurse from the" red zone, "said Gagloeva.
205 people are under medical supervision, 123 people are in medical institutions of the Republic, of which 41 are in the isolation ward. In total, 89 coronavirus patients have been detected since May, all of them were in quarantine at medical institutions, thanks to timely measures taken by the authorities, 85 people recovered and were discharged from medical institutions.
Under quarantine zones in the Republic, are assigned the wards in the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center in Tskhinval, district hospitals in the settlements of Dzau, Znaur and Leningor, the building of the former maternity hospital and the hotel "Alan".
Until July 31, there is a ban on crossing the border with Russia. An exception was made only for trucks, for which a schedule for crossing the border has been established, as well as for citizens of South Ossetia outside the Republic who can return home after applying to the South Ossetian Consulate in North Ossetia.
In the Republic, restrictions on cultural events have been lifted, public places have been opened, and kindergartens have resumed their work.
