President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov said at a meeting with First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Mikhail Babich that the Investment Program to promote socio-economic development of South Ossetia would be completed by the end of the year by 100 percent.
"You know South Ossetia firsthand, you know perfectly well the economic component of the Republic and the processes that took place and are ongoing. It is gratifying to note that you know the ins and outs of the Investment Program. And the issues that we will discuss, aimed at the comfortable living of our citizens, will be a serious step for further development of the Republic. Without the assistance of Russia, we would not have achieved all of this, and the tasks that we face in terms of the scope of work, which are defined, no doubt, are ambitious, but feasible. The work under the Investment Program is underway, and I think that by the end of the year we will have completed the projects to 100 percent. I have no doubts about this, "Bibilov said, addressing Babich.
The President expressed gratitude to the Russian official for the assistance rendered to the Republic in the issue of civil service. .
“The agreements concluded on this issue are based on the Treaty of Alliance and Integration, and are already included in the Russian budget, and this cannot but rejoice. And this is a huge gratitude to you, since you directly supervised this issue,” Bibilov emphasized.

“Undoubtedly, the project by the Information and Coordination Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs turned out to be very interesting, we have seen the work of the law enforcement structures of Russia and South Ossetia is organized, we will develop this project. As for our main task - this is the development of funds included in the Investment Program, and are aimed at completing objects of the socio-economic sphere,” he said.
The Deputy Minister has added that the Russian government is systematically working to create an economic basis for the development of South Ossetia, and "the creation of jobs is one of the most important tasks of the Investment Program".
