The South Ossetian wrestlers will compete at the World Junior Freestyle Wrestling Championship,” the sportsmen's coach Tamerlan Kochiev told the “Res” news agency.
Famous athletes Andrey Bestaev and Soslan Dzhagaev will represent South Ossetia at the championship. As noted, by the coach Bestaev will compete in the weight category up to 125 kg, and Dzhagaev will compete in the weight category of 97 kg.
“The guys are training in the city of Sochi, today they will go to the competition. As always, I expect victories from them, and then we will see. They themselves are positive about the competition,” Kochel said.
Wrestlers from 54 countries will take part in the major sporting event. Competitions will be held in the Bashkiria city of Ufa from 16 to 18 August.
