In October, 19 violators of the law in the border sphere were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia (in September - 48), according to the statement of the State Security Committee of South Ossetia on Wednesday.
"Of them: 13 - violators of the state border regime, 6 - of the border regime. The Border Service of the State Security Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia conducted proceedings on each fact of violation of legal regimes. In the course of procedural activity on the fact of violation of the state border, a criminal case has been initiated and is being investigated against one person on the grounds of the corpus delicti provided for in part one of Article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. In relation to the remaining violators, within the framework of the South Ossetian legislation in force on the state border, administrative measures have been taken and explanatory work has been carried out. As a result, four people were subjected to administrative fines, 11 violators were expelled from the RSO, 3 were warned," the KGB reported.
It has been noted that due to the difficult sanitary and epidemic situation in Georgia, the Border Service of the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia recommends that citizens and guests of the Republic comply with the regimes established by law, and also reminds of administrative and criminal responsibility for violating the border legislation of the Republic of South Ossetia.
