President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov met on Tuesday in the South Ossetian State University with highly qualified specialists of the DPR in the field of medicine - the head physician of the psychiatric hospital No. 1 in Makeevka Elena Babur and her Deputy Inna Rastorguyeva, who are on a working visit to the Republic.
According to the presidential press service, the head of state noted the close cooperation of the Republic of South Ossetia with the republics of Donbass, stressing that they would continue to build up bilateral ties.
“Thank you so much for coming and sharing your professional experience. All these steps are aimed at the benefit of our peoples. The development of relations between our republics is the basis for further rapprochement between our peoples. Many joint projects have been implemented by our educational institutions and medical institutions. And this is good news,” he said.
Anatoly Bibilov focused on the emerging political situation around Ukraine, noting that all this is aimed at weakening the Russian Federation.
“It is important for our republics to support each other in all areas: in medicine, and in education, and in sports, and culture – in all areas of our interaction,” he said.
For her part, Elena Babura thanked the head of state for the warm welcome.
“We will be happy to exchange experiences. You have a good psychological base, good qualified employees. Together, of course, we will achieve mental health, well-being, peace of mind of our citizens who will live and enjoy life,” she said.
For merits in strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of South Ossetia and the DPR, as well as practical assistance provided to the citizens of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov awarded the guests with medals "In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War of the people of South Ossetia."
