The agenda of the meeting with the participation of the Prime Minister of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev and the Russian government delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach consisted of the issues related to the decisions of the meeting of the intergovernmental commission of June 23, 2022.
Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev warmly welcomed the guests and noted that he was counting on constructive cooperation.
“First of all, I would like to thank the leadership of the Russian Federation, all our Russian colleagues for their comprehensive assistance in matters of socio-economic development of the Republic of South Ossetia, regular legal and methodological assistance. I am sure that by joint efforts we will be able to achieve our goals,” Konstantin Dzhussoev has emphasized, the words of which are reported by the press service of the government.
“Most importantly, we feel a great desire on your part to work on all the tasks set. Even if we do not immediately reach compromises, we appreciate the readiness for cooperation,” said Dmitry Volvach.
The parties discussed the implementation of the Investment Program for the Promotion of Socio- Economic Development of the Republic of South Ossetia for 2022, as well as the formation of a new program for 2023-2025.
They have also touched upon the topic of increasing the level of remuneration of employees of the government bodies of the Republic, harmonization of the customs and tax legislation of the Republic of South Ossetia with the legislation of the Russian Federation, issues of conducting a comprehensive control measure "Checking the implementation by the Republic of South Ossetia of the terms of the Agreement between the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of South Ossetia on the procedure for providing financial assistance to the Republic of South Ossetia in order to make budget investments and support investment activities dated May 7, 2020.
