A meeting between President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak took place in Moscow, the press service of President of South Ossetia reports.
"During the meeting, topical problems of bilateral cooperation were considered. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the program for socio-economic development of the Republic until 2025, as well as the effective use of the budget funds of the Russian Federation, aimed at strengthening socio-economic situation in the Republic," the press service said.
The parties discussed the increase in salaries of employees of the executive authorities and law enforcement agencies of South Ossetia, as well as the issues of pension provision for employees of the prosecutor's office, the penitentiary department and other bodies.
"Issues of cooperation in the energy sector were considered separately.⠀
The Russian party emphasized the importance of the coordinated work of the executive and legislative branches of power on the bilateral agenda in the interests of maintaining internal political stability and ensuring the prospects for sustainable development of the Republic," the press service emphasized.⠀
During his working visit to Moscow, Alan Gagloev also met with Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliev, during which special attention was paid to the entire range of security issues of the Republic.
