On the invitation of Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev took part in the solemn event on the occasion of the celebration of the Diplomatic Worker's Day, the press service of the South Ossetian Embassy in the Russian Federation reports.
“Znaur Gassiev congratulated Sergey Lavrov and the entire diplomatic corps on the holiday and thanked the Minister for all possible assistance in developing relations between the two states. Sergey Lavrov expressed his gratitude to Znaur Gassiev for his heartfelt congratulations and participation in the solemn event,” the press service said.
The meeting was attended by heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
