The main results of the activities of the State Security Committee of South Ossetia in 2022 and the priority tasks for this year were discussed at the annual expanded board of the department on Thursday, the press service of the KGB reports.
"The Chairman of the KGB, Lieutenant-General Oleg Shiran, made a report on the geopolitical situation in the post-Soviet space, the operational situation in the Republic and the results of the operational activities of the State Security Committee in 2022," the press service said.
As noted, the event was attended by the official representative of the FSB of Russia in the Republic Evgeny Ragozin, Secretary of the Security Council of South Ossetia Anatoly Pliev, the leadership of the Border Directorate of the FSB of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Republic Alexei Varziev, the head of the State Security Service of South Ossetia Andrey Kochiev, and also representatives of the FSB of Russia and the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
