The Scientist from South Ossetia, head of the department of socio-economic research of the Z.N. Vaneev South Ossetia Research Institute Vyacheslav Dzhabiev took part in the XI International theoretical and practical conference on economics "The phenomenon of the market economy: from its origins to the present day. Transformation of economic systems in the context of turbulent development", held in Sochi from March 29 to April 2.
As reported by Dzhabiev to the “Res” news agency, the scientific event was dedicated to the memory of a well-known scientist and a major organizer of economic science in Central Asia and southern Russia, Doctor of Economics, Professor A.F. Sidorov.
According to the South Ossetian scientist, he "was presented at the conference as the expert on the problems of theoretical and methodological content of the market economy phenomenon, delivered a report at the plenary session, in which he highlighted the problems facing the economies of the Russian Federation and South Ossetia, and the prospects for development and mutually beneficial cooperation."
“The conference program was also full of cultural events. The last day of the conference was held in Sukhum, at the ACS HPE "Abkhaz State University". At the university, the guests also made presentations and welcoming words,” said Dzhabiev.
He noted that "he delivered a welcoming speech at the university and presented his vision of joint cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and South Ossetia."
“The guests of the conference were given a tour of the main beauties of Abkhazia. It is worth noting that the development of the economy of the Republic of Abkhazia in recent years has been going at a more rapid pace: this is the construction of tourism infrastructure, and a wide range of banking services (the ability to pay for services both with local bank cards and Russian ones, as well as transfers between them),” said Dzhabiev.
According to him, in addition to South Ossetia, the conference was attended by representatives of neighboring countries: Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Abkhazia, there were many representatives from the regions of Russia. Among the participants were professors, doctors of sciences, heads of research institutes, universities and their branches, who expressed their desire for further cooperation between scientific organizations and the intention to conclude agreements between them.
