President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev awarded the Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, a native of the Republic of South Ossetia Professor Givi Besaev with the Order of Honor, the press service of the head of state reports.
In accordance with the presidential decree, the high award was given to the scientist for great personal merits in the field of healthcare, high professionalism and in connection with the 80th anniversary of his birth.
Givi Besaev – the Leading Researcher at the Combined Injury Clinic of the State Institution “St. Petersburg Research Institute for I.I. Dzhanalidze Emergency Medicine”, is the author of scientific papers and inventions. The professor combines scientific and clinical work with teaching, assisting students in their studies and training of young professionals.
In addition, he takes an active part in the treatment of patients and victims sent from Ossetia to St. Petersburg, by performing complex operations on them.
