On Friday, Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, was awarded the Order of Honor of South Ossetia.
"Today, the State Adviser to the President of South Ossetia Konstantin Kochiev presented me with the Order of Honor of the Republic of South Ossetia. I was glad to receive this high award from the hands of Konstantin Karlenovich, with whom we have been linked for many years of joint work on the development of relations between Moscow and Tskhinval, interaction on international platforms, primarily at the Geneva discussions on stability and security in Transcaucasia," Grigory Karasin said in his telegram channel.
According to him, he is touched by such attention from South Ossetian friends.
