From August 2 to September 30, citizens of South Ossetia are granted the right to carry out certain types of economic activities, in particular, purchase and transportation of agricultural products, in the border zone of the Tskhinval, Znaur and Leningor districts of the Republic without obtaining appropriate permit.
This was reported by the press service of the State Security Committee of the Republic.
"At the same time, in order to enter the border zone for these purposes, it is necessary to arrive at the nearest subdivision of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the RSO with a passport to identify the person, clarify the location, nature and timing of economic work," the message says.
This measure is aimed at creating favorable conditions during the period of active agricultural work, the department has stressed.
